Bottom line.Every book tracker we checked has a free tier. Paid tiers run from $9.99 once (BookBuddy Pro) to $80 a year (Literal Supporter), and The StoryGraph and Hardcover charge $49.99 a year, and Fable Plus is $5.99 a month or $49.99 a year. No tracker price changed since our September and October reads.

If you would keep a paid tier for a full year, the yearly plan is cheaper in every case where both exist.
What fine print do the App Store lists show?
- Bookly lists at least ten in-app items, including a six-month plan ($19.99), a family plan ($9.99 a month) and a $79.99 "Bookly Pro" that Apple's catalog marks as a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Monthly Pro comes with a 7-day free trial.
- Basmo also lists a $3.49 weekly item and a discounted $29.99 yearly item alongside the standard $4.99 and $39.99 plans.
- BookBuddy sells optional Online Sharing on top of Pro: $1.99 a month or $19.99 a year (Standard), $4.99 a month or $49.99 a year (Pro).
- Fable charges the same for Fable Plus on the web and in the iPhone app ($5.99 and $49.99), and also sells ebooks inside the app.
Are trackers and recaps the same purchase?
No. A tracker logs what you read; none of the trackers above offers a recap of the plot that stops at your page. If you stall in a long series, there are two recap routes in the price index: Kindle Recaps and Story So Far (no separate fee, Kindle ebooks only) and Magic Bookmark (first book free, then $1.40 to $4.99 per book, for print, ebook or audiobook copies of supported titles, on iPhone).
What changed since our last read?
All tracker prices match the figures on our earlier price pages (read 27 September and 11 October 2026). Two corrections: Bookly's $79.99 item is listed and is a one-time purchase (our 19 October note said it had gone), and Bookmory is new to the index.

Fable Plus has the highest monthly price of the trackers we checked, $5.99, but the same $49.99 yearly price as The StoryGraph and Hardcover, so it has the biggest gap between paying monthly and paying yearly among those three. If you only want a paid tier for a month or two, for a reading challenge or a club, monthly billing is cheaper; if you would keep it all year, yearly wins in every row.
