Our take

Literal is the best free book tracker in our ranking. Everything social and everything for discovery is free, it says it shows no ads and sells no data, and it imports your Goodreads history straight from your public profile. Existing book clubs still work, but Literal said in May 2026 that it is sunsetting the current version of Clubs; its stats are basic and there is no Android app yet.

Ranked 5 of 9 for getting back into a book without spoilers, in our one scored ranking, at 6.05.
